This Tennessee Real Wedding Brings A Modern Southern Charm
High school romances might get a bad rep, but in Ericka and Logan defy the norm.
The couple has been together since sophomore year of high school, where the two met in English class. Within a week, their relationship was filled with date nights, long late-night chats and hours on the phone.
Ericka had to move back to Georgia, but that didn’t phase their relationship. She moved back her junior year and the two moved to Knoxville for college. They eventually moved in together and Logan proposed while the two were around a fire. It was a love story nine years in the making!
Ericka got lucky with her Justin Alexander gown — real lucky.
“My gown was the second dress I had tried on and I knew it was the one,” the bride recalled. “I chose it because I knew i wanted lace and a covered back. It fit me perfect!”
“Intimate and spiritual”
Ericka’s favorite moment from the wedding? The way Logan looked at her.
“We have been together nine years, but that moment was unlike anything we had ever experienced before.”
One of the most important things the couple chose to incorporate into their wedding was the rustic vibe.
“We both grew up in the country so we wanted a hint of rustic,” Ericka suggested. “Overall, I was inspired to have lace, blush pink, and simplicity.”
