This Taco Bell Wedding Dress Took Skills

by Bryce Gruber

This bride wore a Taco Bell wedding dress

If you’re wondering what exactly makes a wedding dress a Taco Bell wedding dress, well, the answer is simple — it’s obviously a frock made entirely of Taco Bell burrito wrappers, and that’s exactly how recent one recent bride saved some serious wedding budget (and we think this idea is up there with this record-setting Niagara Falls vow renewal concept).

Diane Nguyen is obsessed with Taco Bell (that’s probably putting it lightly), and entered herself and her future hubby in the fast food chain’s Love & Tacos contest, which celebrated the winner by showering them with the distinct Mexican-ish honor (seriously, ish) of being the first couple to get married at the chain’s flagship Las Vegas, Nevada eatery. Nguyen pulled out all the stops though, because she wasn’t about to waltz into her Taco Bell wedding in some basic dress. No, no — she was prepared with a totally burrito-wrapped out ensemble that left most of the internet stunned.

Creative at the very least.

We aren’t entirely certain if all those wrappers contained burritos the couple actually ate at some point, but the dress was definitely more budget-friendly than an a custom Dana Harel gown, or even just about anything from the clearance rack at David’s Bridal.

“It’s time to spill the beans,” Nguyen said of her dress on her Insta profile, sharing the love story between her and her fiancé. “We have been engaged for 4 years, and together for 10. Taco Bell has been there through the years, from the after school runs, to late meals after work (or a night of partying). Our love for each other is as cheesy as a quesadilla. We’re nachos getting married, it’s going to be a Las Vegas tacover. Lettuce celebrate our love at the Taco Bell Chapel in Vegas, cuz we are ready to guac and roll.”

Taco ’bout a genius caption, right?
