A Sayulita Wedding to Remember: Megan and Cousy
This Sayulita wedding will give you all the feelings
When Megan Seltenreich, a 28-year old publicist, and Cousy Arenado, a 29-year old business manager, met through mutual friends in California, the attraction was instant, and it eventually led to a pristine Sayulita wedding.
“We disagree on who hit on who first,” Megan told BridalPulse. “But either way, the feeling was mutual.”
The rest is history, as people say, and Cousy managed to use just about all the people in Megan’s life in the Laguna Beach proposal, where her best friend and brother were integral parts of the oceanfront knee drop. The beachside, nature-loving feelings didn’t end at the proposal, because the couple decided a Mexican waterfront wedding would be the best possible way to tie the knot.
“We knew we wanted to do a destination wedding, and Mexico seemed like the closest choice for the majority of our friends and family in California. Sayulita itself seemed to encompass everything Cousy and I love: surfing, the ocean, art, dogs — there are SO many cute dogs in Sayulita — and food,” Megan shared. “The Venue itself, Brisa Mar Palapa, was chosen due to the incredible view, the size of our wedding, and we were told if we wanted our wedding to be a ‘party’ this would be the right spot. They were right!”
