Paris Hilton and Cardi B

Are Paris Hilton and Cardi B Rocking The Same Engagement Ring?

by Katherine Callaghan

What happens when two brides-to-be show up wearing the same engagement ring? Just ask Paris Hilton and Cardi B. The future brides got engaged and the engagement rings are strikingly similar, and to the naked eye, they are almost identical. But are they?

Cardi B got engaged to Migos rapper Offset in late October. The rapper got down on one knee during a Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. Offset proposed to the“Bodak Yellow” singer with an eight carat pear-shaped diamond ring designed by celebrity jewelry designer Pristine Jewelers. The ring  is equipped with two halos, in what appears to be a rose gold setting, that wrap the dazzling diamond.

Earlier this week, Paris Hilton got engaged to longtime boyfriend Chris Zylka. Her now-fiancé proposed atop a snow-covered mountain in Aspen, Colorado with a 20-carat pear-shaped ring. “The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling,” Hilton told People. “I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen.”

One Twitter follower immediately noticed the “twinning” engagement ring moment and tagged the two celebrities in her tweet stating: “Cardi B and Paris Hilton are twinning with the pear-shaped rings.”

Paris Hilton responded to the fan’s tweet graciously: “Our future hubby’s obviously both have amazing & similar taste!?? Congrats @iamcardib & @OffsetYRN! #LuckyGirls ?? #RingGoals ?.”

Brides reported that when asked about the similarities between these two rings, Offset stated, “Same thing… same type, same drip.” Cardi B’s chimed in and stated, “It’s pretty.” While Hilton’s ring is significantly bigger, there’s nothing to be mad about because both rings are drop-dead stunning.  As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

We already know that pear-shaped engagement rings are going to be all the rage in 2018, and Paris Hilton and Cardi B are spearheading this trend. Congrats to these two brides-to-be!
