Royal Wedding Flowers Predicted by Top American Florist
Top American florist predicts royal wedding flowers for Meghan and Harry’s ceremony
New York City based floral studio, Designs by Ahn, is known for crafting some of the most exciting floral trends like big wedding bouquets and purple wedding bouquets that dazzle in photographs for decades to come. Now owner Victoria Ahn is lending her expertise in the world of florals to the royal wedding flowers, by using her genius as a sort of predictive measure. You can call it a psychic florist moment, if you’d like.
“We are highly anticipating the appearance of Meghan’s favorite flower in her bouquet,” explains Victoria. “Photos of full, blooming peonies given to her by the Prince have been featured on her Instagram, and they’ll definitely be in season for the wedding.” Peonies are as classic and elegant as Meghan Markle’s wedding ring, which is already said to be made of Welsh gold.
British garden roses
“Garden roses are always a great choice, but British-grown garden roses will be perfect for Meghan’s bouquet,” tells Ahn of the predicted royal wedding flowers. “Cut flowers are mostly imported, but choosing to use garden roses that are grown and cut right in the U.K. will be a wonderful way to represent the country and Meghan’s intent to become a U.K. citizen.”
“We expect to have a sprig of myrtle in the bouquet, upholding the long tradition that began in the 1800s.”
“More and more brides are becoming aware of this stunning bloom, and we’re hoping to see this trend continue in Meghan’s bouquet. Ranunculus goes perfectly with the other flowers we’re expecting, so our fingers are crossed that these blooms will make an appearance.” The elegant flower is a current wedding mainstay, much like bridal updos and grooms in fine tuxedos.
